How to effectively predicate and explore the potential ore bodies(deposits)in deeper and outer of the mines with critical resource reserves is a very complex project for mineral exploration. This paper demonstrated an important implication of comprehensive informtionism in prediction and exploration in deeper and outer of mines by theory analysis and a lot of experienced examples from domestic and international exploration, and presented 4 important principles as follows: direction by innovative metallogeny theory; accurate deduction based on careful geological investigation; to acquire more indirect information by using new technology of geophysics and geochemistry; and resultful integration and analysis of various information by advanced computers and software. By application of these principles, the authors conducted comprehensive prediction and exploration in deeper and outer of the Fenghuangshan copper mine in Tongling district, Anhui Province. The prediction conclusion was tested by hole and channel exploration, and high quality hidden copper-gold ore bodies discovered. Furthermore, the porphyry copper ore bodies was firstly discovered in the area.
