Hydrothermal deposit is one of the kinds with highest industrial value. Extensive researches have been done on rock- and ore-formation, ore-forming mechanics and ore-forming regularities, yet there are still some questions remain to be answered. In recent years, numerical simulation method is applied to researches on hydrothermal deposits and shows great potential. In this paper, a systematic summary is made of the development and achievement of numerical simulation on ore-forming processes of hydrothermal deposit. Remaining problems and future trends are analysed as well in order to promote the development of numerical simulation on ore-forming processes and its application to hydrothermal deposit and enrich our knowledge to the theories of mineral deposits.
