Niubiziliang area is located in the northwestern margin of the Qaidam Basin and is a typical plateau desert landscape. Large-scale geochemical surveys can be carried out to obtain more real geochemical information, which greatly improves the collection of geochemical information and the effect of geological prospecting. Through the analysis of the geological features of mineralization and important geochemical anomalies in Niubiziliang area, it is discovered that the Late Devonian basic-ultrabasic rocks are closely related to mineralization, and the fault structure has control in the mineralization process; the anomalous features of elements are obvious, such as Cr, Co, Ni, La, Au etc. Combined with existing ore-forming facts, there is high potential for finding copper-nickel ore related to basic-ultrabasic rock, and gold mines associated with the ductile shear zone, and rare and rare earth mineral deposits. It is recommended that the next step is to give priority in these anomaly zones to do detailed verification and engineering survey.
