According to analysis of the petrological characteristics,sedimentary structure,grain size and detrital composition of the Early-Middle Jurassic strata of Guachehe section from Tongcheng and Heta section from Susong,Anhui,this research revealed the uplift and denudation history of Dabie Mountain; Combined the structural deformation analysis,discussed the regional dynamic background of the studied area. The result showed that Guachehe is fan-delta to seimi-lake and Heta is river channel and flood plain facies in the Early-Middle Jurassic time,and their source provenance area both are Dabie Mountain. And because Guachehe section is rich in,Heta section is relatively poor in metamorphic clastic particles,thus proposed that the southeast part of South Dabie Mountain uplifts higher than southwest in the Early-Middle Jurassic; but compared to the gravel and detrial composition of the North of Dabie Moutain,uplift and erosion of north part was faster and more pronounced. The migmatite and ocean source materials of collisional orogen-volcanic island arc and recycled orogeny of these two sections indicate paleo tectonic framework of trench-volcanic arc-basin from north to south. Analysis of paleo-tectonic stress field based on measurement of groups occurrences of fault surfaces and scratches in the two sections showed that studied area subject nearly S-N directed compression caused by Yanshan Movement in the Late Jurassic. Another nearly E-W compression undertook by Guachehe section indicate southeast of Dabie Mountain has already suffered from Paleo-Pacific tectonic dynamic system in that time.
