Permian-Triassic prototype basin restoration and depocenter evolution feature in Hami Depression

Abstract:
On the basis of field outcrop,seismic and well data,Permian-Triassic strata erosion thickness of Hami Depression can be calculated by means of balanced section,seismic stratigraphy,horizon comparison,proximity thickness ratio and deposition rate.Accordingly,the Permian-Triassic original formation thickness can be recovered.Consequently the Permian-Triassic prototype basin of Hami Depression can be recovered and its depocenter evolution is also discussed in the paper.
