Characteristics of Lower Paleozoic carbonate sediment and reservoir of Guchengxu uplift in Tazhong area

Guchengxu uplift was a part of the central uplift belt of Tarim Basin.It shows rich oil and gases and good exploration prospect,but weak research on carbonate sediment and reservoir puts a restraint on the exploration of oil and gas in Guchengxu uplift because of its low exploration degree and a few wells drilled for a long time.Based on comparative analysis of structure and sedimentary evolution of Guchengxu and Katake uplift,analyzing single well facies and sedimentary facies model,this paper studied distribution of sedimentary facies from Late Cambrian to middle Ordovician.On the basis of study of reservoir petrology,physical properties,diagenesis,reservoir space type,combined structure with sedimentary evolution of Tazhong area,and considered different diagenesis environment by sequence,genetic geologic model of reservoir development of lower Paleozoic carbonate of continuous deposition area was established and reservoir evaluation and prediction was carried out.It was pointed out that platform micro-uplift was key exploration zone in order to provide geological basis for further exploration deployment.
