A STUDY ON TRACE-ELEMENT ZONING IN THE REHAI GEOTHERMAL FIELD, TENGCHONG, YUNNAN PROVINCE

Geochemical zoning pattern of trace-element anomalies in 3 different areas gradually extends from 25 km2, 60 km2 to 200 km2, in the known hydrothermically active areas and their vicinities in Tengchong of Yunnan Province, was determined by geochemical surveys on soil and rocks. Correlation and cluster analyses of the data are made, then hierarchical dendrogram is drawn The pattern is rather similar to that of hydrothermal regime and their potentials in both geothermal exploration and precious-metal resources are evaluated.
